SECTION V- HEALTH HAZARD DATA

Under normal use and handling conditions there can be trace exposure to plasticizer and residual solvent vapors, however these exposures are significantly below OSHA guidelines and should not constitute a hazard in normal use.

This product contains 18-30% mixed phthalate esters. These plasticizers have low toxicity. ACGIH and OSHA have not established specific exposure limits for these plasticizers. Chemically similar plasticizers have ACGIH and OSHA exposure limits of 5 mg/m3, 8 hour time weighted average. Subjecting this material to temperatures above 2500 F may liberate modest quantities of plasticizer. At temperatures above 4000 F the product may decompose to HCI, CO, and other gases.

This product also contains 0.1-2% mixed solvent. This solvent is residual to printing, finishing, or backcoating operations and consists primarily of ketones.
